Terrors sting Wasps to narrow Championship lead

Dundee United have narrowed the gap at the top of the Ladbrokes Championship to five points after coming from behind to beat bottom-of-the-table Alloa 2-1 at Tannadice.
The Wasps took an early lead through Jordan Kirkpatrick, after a goalkeeping error from Benji Siegrist who dropped the ball from a corner, which allowed the midfielder to slot home.
The home side found the equaliser in the 25th minute when a cross was turned into his own goal by Alloa’s Scott Taggart.
A great save from Neil Parry denied Paul Watson the chance to put Dundee ahead in the second half before the promotion chasers took the lead in the 83rd minute.
A Callum Booth cross was tapped in by Nicky Clark at the back post for his seventh league goal of the season.
