Play-off hopefuls Bristol City expect to have midfielder Korey Smith fit for the Championship match against Wigan.
Smith, who has returned from a serious knee injury, was taken off during the closing stages of the midweek win at Middlesbrough as a precaution, having come on as a substitute at the start of the second half.
Andreas Weimann, though, is not expected to feature after being forced off with a foot problem against Boro.
Robins boss Lee Johnson must decide whether to name a goalkeeper on the bench, having not done so in midweek, with Niki Maenpaa and Frank Fielding still sidelined.
Wigan, fighting for points at the other end of the table, have seen midfielder Michael Jacobs ruled out for the rest of the season by a hamstring injury.
Gary Roberts is out after picking up a calf problem during training.
Midfielder Callum McManaman has had surgery on a hernia, so is set for around four weeks of recovery.
Winger Anthony Pilkington could come back into contention for a start on what would be his 400th career appearance after returning to fitness following a knee problem.
