MANCHESTER UNITED boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer snapped at Marcus Rashford shortly after Luis Suarez's goal for Barcelona in their Champions League clash.

Manchester United are currently in Champions League action against Barcelona, with the Red Devils aiming to make it through to a first semi-final since 2011.

However, Solskjaer's side have started poorly with Suarez opening the scoring for the Catalan giants with a deft header.

Shortly after the goal, the United boss trudged towards the touchline in an attempt to spark his side into life.

And the United boss urged Rashford to stick to Barcelona midfielder Arthur Melo.

Arthur has been pulling the strings so far for the Catalan giants with United unable to touch the Brazilian.

And Solskjaer seemingly appealed to Rashford to stick to his man, with the England international nodding in acknowledgement.

Speaking before the game, meanwhile, United boss Solskjaer explained his decision to play Rashford over Anthony Martial.

Martial, who has only recently returned from injury, has been left on the bench.

And Solskjaer said: "Rashy’s fine.

"He’s been ill as well, he had his last test yesterday so hopefully he’ll last for as long as he can.

“He’ll do his best - we know Rashy, he lives for nights like this.”

United are aiming for some Champions League revenge on Barcelona.

They beat the Catalan giants in the semi-finals of the same competition on their way to glory in 2008.

But, ever since, Barcelona have always had United's number.

They breezed past the Red Devils in the 2009 Champions League final with Samuel Eto'o and Lionel Messi on target.

And United also lost to Barcelona in the 2011 final at Wembley, with Messi scoring either side of goals from Pedro and David Villa.
