David Luiz signs Chelsea contract extension until 2021

Chelsea have announced the contract extension of David Luiz which will see the defender remain at Stamford Bridge until the summer of 2021.
The Brazilian's deal was set to expire in the summer but has proven to be a key part of coach Maurizio Sarri's side and has thus earned a new deal.
The announcement comes less than 24 hours after the Blues sealed their place in the Europa League final, defeating Eintracht Frankfurt in the semi-finals via a penalty shootout, in which David Luiz successfully converted his kick.
"I am so happy to be here and to have this opportunity to stay," he stated.
"I love this club and I still have the ambition of a young player."
"It means a lot to reach another European final, and we still have the opportunity to finish in the top three of the Premier League this season and I will continue to try to do my best to help the team," David Luiz said.
