And German superclub Bayern are willing to pay his wages on a season-long loan deal.
Boss Niko Kovac wants Bale to boost his squad after losing Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery.
Premier League clubs are all watching Bale’s problems from afar and without much chance of joining the race.
Even on loan he is too rich for the likes of Manchester United and Tottenham right now - with Wayne Rooney warning his old club not to go for his fellow former Prem star.
Bale, who turns 30 next month, knows his chances of playing are slim in Madrid so he may be interested in moving to the Bundesliga for a year, to stay sharp and rekindle his club career.

Real will see who else comes out of the woodwork in the coming weeks, but the German route is emerging as the best option for all concerned.
Bale was recently trolled by fuming Real Madrid fans after he posted a photo of himself on the golf course during Eden Hazard's unveiling.
Cardiff-born Bale, a huge golf nut, tweeted a photo of himself on Pebble Beach golf course, site of this week's US Open, and wished world No 2 Dustin Johnson good luck.
But Bernabeu fans were alert to the timing of the post - which came as ex-Chelsea star Hazard was being paraded in front of 50,000 fans at the Bernabeu.
