When Zinedine Zidane Embarrassed Young Goalkeeper By Sending Him To The Shops, Three Times

Zinedine Zidane, the man who had a tendency to make everything look ridiculously easy during his playing career, was still humiliating players on the pitch back in 2011.

Five years after hanging up those classic Adidas Predators, the iconic French midfielder gave management a try.

As we all know, that worked a treat.

He led his former side to Champions League and La Liga glory but before all of that happened, Zidane gave one young Castilla goalkeeper a lesson he would never forget.

He didn't just send him to the shops once, not even twice - but three god-damn times.

As you can see in the footage above, the legendary midfielder immediately went over to the embarrassed shot-stopper to shake his hand.

Some say he never recovered from this moment.

Zidane forged an incredible career at the highest level, winning league titles with Juventus and Real Madrid, firing France to the 1998 World Cup on home soil and scoring 'that' volley in the 2002 Champions League final triumph over Bayer Leverkusen.

While the everlasting image of Zidane's playing career will always be him walking past the World Cup after head-butting Materazzi , football fans will never forget Zizou's gorgeous first touch and supreme technical ability.

He was a joy to watch and years after his retirement, the bloke has still got it.
