Success from the spot after a 2-2 draw

Just as it was in the previous edition in 2017 when Atletico Madrid were the victors, this summer's Audi Cup was settled from the penalty spot and claimed by Tottenham.
Following a 2-2 draw with Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena, the English side triumphed 6-5 in a shootout.
Erik Lamela and Christian Eriksen had put Spurs two goals ahead with their efforts in the 19th and 59th minutes, but the Bundesliga champions fought back with two goals from two teenagers.
Just moments after Eriksen's goal, Jann-Fiete Arp pulled one back and then Alphonso Davies levelled the scores 10 minutes from time with a crisp curled finish from outside the area.
David Alaba and Eriksen both missed their penalties and it was 4-4 after each side had taken five each, but Spurs won in sudden death as Paulo Gazzaniga denied Jerome Boateng.
