Peterborough will check on Marcus Maddison and Matt Godden ahead of the visit of Fleetwood on the opening weekend of the League One season.
Maddison has been carrying a slight thigh strain and Godden has a calf problem.
Club-record signing Mo Eisa will start in attack while George Boyd, back with Posh after leaving Sheffield Wednesday, is set to play in central midfield.
Christy Pym, Mark Beevers, Niall Mason and Frankie Kent are among the other new signings expected to feature.
Josh Morris is Fleetwood’s main injury concerned.
The midfielder, signed from Scunthorpe, was carried off on a stretcher during their last pre-season friendly against Preston.
Fellow summer signings Paul Coutts, Danny Andrew and Jordan Rossiter are expected to feature.
Stoke defender Harry Souttar and Leeds full-back Lewie Coyle, back with the Cod Army on loan, should also start.
