BARCELONA have asked Neymar to end any negotiations with Real Madrid and tell them he wants to return to the Nou Camp.

That’s according to reports in Spain.

Neymar is expected to leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer and return to Spain.

The Brazilian has told PSG he wants to leave, and reportedly declared to the club that he wants to return to Barcelona.

Two years after he left for the French giants, Neymar is apparently unhappy with the quality of football in Ligue 1.

Barcelona have made multiple offers to PSG so far this window, but have been unable to tempt the French champions into a deal.

The Catalan giants have offered up a list of six players to exchange for the Brazilian, but they instead wanted more cash up front.

It is believed that PSG wanted ï¿¡160million up front - taking a ï¿¡38m loss on what they paid for him in 2017.

With just less than a month remaining until the September 2 deadline for Spanish clubs to make deals, Real Madrid have emerged as the favourites to land the forward.

Reports emerged this week suggesting that Real Madrid were set to offer up ï¿¡110m and Luka Modric in exchange for Neymar, a deal PSG were considering.

But Barca are still desperate to sign the megastar, and have reportedly taken drastic action to get their man.

Spanish publication Sport reported on Friday that they were set to ask Neymar to stop his negotiations with Real Madrid and declare publicly that he wants a return to the Nou Camp.

The report also states that Barca are set to make another offer for Neymar, and include Philippe Coutinho in the deal.

PSG are reportedly interested in the Brazilian, who has been told he can leave the Spanish champions.

The 27-year-old was linked with a move to the Premier League - either to Tottenham or Arsenal - but rejected both moves.

Instead, it is believed that he could be used as a pawn in the Neymar transfer, with PSG willing to discuss a swap deal plus cash.
