Rochdale without Jimmy Ryan for cup meeting with struggling Bolton

Rochdale will continue to be without Jimmy Ryan for their Carabao Cup game against Bolton on Tuesday.
The 30-year-old midfielder was given a retrospective three-match ban for an incident in Dale’s season-opener against Tranmere which was not seen by the match officials.
Tyler Magloire could make his club debut after joining on a season-long loan deal from Blackburn on Thursday. The defender was an unused substitute in Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Doncaster.
Forward Aaron Wilbraham has missed the last two matches with a calf injury and will be assessed ahead of the cup tie.
Bolton could stick with the young side who held out for a goalless draw against Coventry on Saturday.
The Trotters did not name a single senior player in their starting line-up, which had an average age of 19.
Harry Brockbank could continue as captain for Wanderers, after taking the armband aged 20 against Coventry.
Bolton will be hoping their young side can secure their first win of the season against Rochdale amid the turmoil going on off the pitch at the club.
