Ipswich are set to be without Luke Garbutt for their Sky Bet League One clash with AFC Wimbledon on Tuesday.
Garbutt was forced off against Sunderland and has missed the last two matches against Luton and Peterborough, and could be out for a further three weeks.
Gwion Edwards (groin) and Jon Nolan (calf) have returned to training but Tuesday’s match is expected to come too soon for the pair.
On the long-term injury list for Ipswich are Freddie Sears and Jack Lankester, both with knee injuries.
AFC Wimbledon midfielder Anthony Wordsworth could be included in Wally Downes’ matchday squad to face Ipswich.
Wordsworth has been recovering from an Achilles injury and Downes said he wanted to avoid rushing the 30-year-old back from injury.
Will Nightingale has returned to training following a knee injury but is unlikely to be included having missed the 1-1 draw against Accrington on Saturday.
On-loan West Ham goalkeeper Nathan Trott is expected to continue in goal after returning from a groin injury to make his club debut at the weekend.
