Jimmy Phillips set to be in charge of beleaguered Bolton against Ipswich

Academy manager Jimmy Phillips is expected to be in charge if Bolton’s scheduled League One match against Ipswich goes ahead.
The financially-troubled club reluctantly accepted the resignation of boss Phil Parkinson earlier this week, which came after the postponement of the Doncaster game because of the club’s “welfare concerns” for their young players.
A young Bolton side were beaten 5-0 at Tranmere in their last match, when defender Liam Edwards (ankle) and 19-year-old winger Dennis Poltic (hip) both missed out.
Forward Connor Hall, 21, and on-loan defender Josh Earl continue their recovery from respective ankle problems.
Ipswich right-back Kane Vincent-Young is fit again after a toe problem as he looks to make his debut following his move from Colchester.
Captain Luke Chambers is expected to come back into the defence after being rested for the midweek win over AFC Wimbledon.
Midfielder Jon Nolan (calf) and recent signing Will Keane are set to play for the under-23s as they look to build up some match fitness.
Defender Toto Nsiala, Luke Garbutt, midfielder Teddy Bishop, Jack Lankester, Gwion Edwards and forward Freddie Sears all continue their own rehabilitation.
