Tottenham will be offered the chance to sign Juventus forward Paulo Dybala in the January transfer window for around £65million, as Spurs continue their push to finish in the top four of the Premier League again.

Tottenham will be given the opportunity to sign Juventus forward Paulo Dybala in the January transfer window.

Spurs tried to sign the Argentinian toward the end of the summer window, when Juventus were trying to offload the forward.

But Dybala opted to stay in Turin and fight for his place, despite being told by manager Maurizio Sarri that he was free to leave.

Tottenham will once again consider a move for Dybala in January, as Mauricio Pochettino remains a fan of his fellow countryman.

And according to the Daily Star, the Old Lady will not stand in the way of him swapping the Allianz Stadium for the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

It’s believed that Dybala had his heart set on a move to Paris Saint-Germain, and that would’ve been the only club to make him consider moving.

But, the deal never materialised, as he would’ve been a direct replacement for Neymar if he left the club.

Seeing as Neymar didn’t leave PSG this summer, despite much speculation, Dybala stayed put at Juventus.

Manchester United were also briefly linked with a move for Dybala, in a deal that would have seen Romelu Lukaku head the other way.

But, Dybala’s wages proved to be the stumbling block, and the deal fell through with Lukaku going to Inter Milan instead.

Spurs may be tempted to make a bid for the forward as a replacement for Christian Eriksen.

Eriksen has revealed he wants a new challenge, and will be free to speak to other clubs in January, with his contract expiring at the end of June.

The Argentina international is yet to start a league match for Juventus this season, having only featured as a substitute on one occasion, playing for 14 minutes.

He would be willing to make a move away from Juventus in January if it became apparent that Sarri wasn’t interested in playing him.

Dybala made 42 appearances for Juventus last season, scoring 10 goals and providing five assists.

The 25-year-old initially arrived from Palermo in 2015, in a £36m deal.

Since then, he’s played 183 matches for Juventus, scoring 78 goals and providing 30 assists.
