Clement Lenglet enjoyed a good first season at Barcelona and is still growing as a defender, something his father isn't surprised about.
Sebatien Lenglet has spoken about his son's determination to learn from the best centre-backs in the world, something he is currently doing by playing alongside Gerard Pique.
"As a young kid he watched videos of Zinedine Zidane and Ronaldinho," his father told L'Equipe.
"Then from the age of 14 he had two new references, in Paolo Maldini and Laurent Blanc.
"He would spend hours watching videos of them.
"Through Blanc, he could see the need to anticipate the run of an opposition forward."
