De Wijs ruled out for QPR clash

Hull head coach Grant McCann has only one absentee as he prepares his side for Saturday’s Sky Bet Championship clash with QPR.
Central defender Jordy De Wijs is out after damaging ankle ligaments in training, although the injury is expected to sideline him only for a matter of weeks.
Ryan Tafazolli and Matthew Pennington are expected to battle it out for the right to replace the Dutchman.
McCann otherwise has a full squad from which to select after defender Callum Elder (calf) and midfielder Jon Toral (hamstring) trained during the international break and return to contention.
QPR boss Mark Warburton is expecting to choose from a full-strength squad as his side bid for their sixth win in eight league games.
Jan Mlakar (Slovenia), fellow forward Nahki Wells (Bermuda), defender Colin Masterson (Republic of Ireland Under-21s) and midfielder Matty Smith (Wales) have all returned from international duty unscathed.
Defender Grant Hall and on-loan Tottenham midfielder Luke Amos have both returned to contention after recovering from their respective injuries.
Mlakar, Jordan Hugill and Marc Pugh are among those pushing for recalls to Warburton’s starting line-up.
