Portsmouth striker Brett Pitman ruled out of Lincoln clash

Portsmouth look set to be without Brett Pitman again when they host Lincoln on Tuesday.
Boss Kenny Jackett said the striker, who missed Saturday’s 1-0 loss at AFC Wimbledon due to a groin strain, is “close” to a return but added: “I don’t think he’ll make either Tuesday or Saturday (at Bristol Rovers).”
Definitely still out are Oli Hawkins (foot), Bryn Morris (groin) and Jack Whatmough (knee).
Pompey are currently a point above the Sky Bet League One relegation zone in 18th place.
Lincoln defender Cian Bolger misses out as he begins a suspension.
Bolger starts a three-match ban following his straight red card in the 0-0 draw against Shrewsbury on Friday night.
Michael Bostwick, who has not been involved since coming off with a muscular injury against Bristol Rovers on September 14, remains unavailable.
Since Michael Appleton – a former Portsmouth boss – took charge at 12th-placed Lincoln last month, the team have won one, drawn one and lost two league matches.
