Torquay on song as Barrow’s run ends

Doubles from both Jamie Reid and Armani Little saw Torquay win 4-2 to end Barrow’s seven-game winning run in the National League.
Ian Evatt’s visiting side took an early lead in the 10th minute as Dior Angus rounded the keeper and scored the opener into an empty net.
Ben Whitfield linked up with Reid to pull the hosts level and Torquay were awarded a penalty as the interval approached, with John Rooney deemed to have handled. Reid neatly converted the opportunity, leaving the Gulls 2-1 up at the break.
Little provided a third as the second half began, connecting with a low cross to slot the ball between the legs of Joel Dixon.
Barrow substitute Connor Brown pulled one back but his effort was in vain as Little struck again in the 75th minute.
