Striker Eddie Nketiah is out of Leeds’ Sky Bet Championship clash with Blackburn as he faces several weeks on the sidelines.
The on-loan Arsenal frontman suffered an abdominal injury in training last week and manager Marcelo Bielsa has revealed he is being monitored on a week-to-week basis.
Barry Douglas is available after recovering from a knee problem, but fellow defender Ezgjan Alioski (hip) and midfielder Jamie Shackleton (muscular injury) are still out.
Skipper Liam Cooper returned to the starting line-up against QPR last weekend, while midfielder Pablo Hernandez ended a six-game absence when he came off the bench.
Blackburn boss Tony Mowbray has no fresh injury problems ahead of the trip to Elland Road.
Midfielder Lewis Holtby played 67 minutes of last Saturday’s 2-1 victory over Sheffield Wednesday on his return from a hamstring injury and suffered no ill effects.
Central defender Darragh Lenihan continues to work his way back from a knee injury which has sidelined him for the last month but is yet to return to full training.
Strikers Ben Brereton and Dominic Samuel are also on the comeback trail after knee and groin problems respectively, and both are expected to play for the under-23s against Middlesbrough on Friday evening.
