TERRIFIED Napoli stars' families have reportedly fled their homes as they live in fear of revenge attacks from the club's ultras over the team's training camp mutiny.

After the Serie A giants got off to a horror start to the season, president Aurelio De Laurentiis ordered they go on a retreat in a bid to restore morale.

But players refused to go, with hardcore Napoli fans now said to have targeted players' cars and houses.

Midfielder Allan had his house broken into, with heavily-pregnant wife, Thais, writing of the break-in on social media.

Thais revealed thugs forced their way into the family's Naples home and damaged it - with reports claiming she, her husband and two kids have escaped the city.

Meanwhile, Piotr Zielinski had his car badly vandalised by ultras after the die-hard fans took matters into their own hands.

The Polish star's wife, Laura Slowiak, has now returned to their home country, with Zielinski away on international duty.

Elsewhere, Lorenzo Insigne - who told vice-president Edo De Laurentiis, son of Aurelio the team would not go on the retreat - is also on international duty, with wife Genoveffa Darone terrified of being left alone.

She has now sought refuge at her parents' home and could stay until the issue at the club is resolved.

Meanwhile, De Laurentiis is threatening legal action against his striking players - and could even dock 25 per cent of their wages. Boss Carlo Ancelotti could even be sacked.

Fans have been protesting outside the stadium with banners and flares, demanding that the players, management and owners treat them with "respect".

Napoli stars including Kalidou Koulibaly have now resorted to hiring bodyguards for them and their families in a bid to avoid being hit by vigilante thugs.

The club currently sit seventh in Serie A, already 13 points adrift of league leaders Juventus, having won just five of their opening 12 matches.
