Max Wright back in contention for Grimsby

Grimsby could welcome back youth graduate Max Wright for Tuesday’s rearranged Sky Bet League Two clash with Cheltenham.
Wright, who scored his first League goal on the opening day of the season, has been out for seven weeks with a thigh injury and interim manager Anthony Limbrick admits his side have missed the talents of the homegrown winger.
Wright may be on the bench but Town will still be without Luke Hendrie, who has a hamstring problem, and Limbrick will check on Swedish defender Ludvig Ohman after he fell ill last week.
Cheltenham manager Michael Duff is considering starting forward Reuben Reid after he made a positive impact after coming off the bench to make his first league appearance in Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Colchester.
Jonte Smith made his first start in that match and Duff is weighing up whether to stick with the Bermudian forward for a match that was postponed at the end of October after heavy rain left the Blundell Park pitch waterlogged.
Defender Sean Long was due to train on Monday so could be in contention but Duff has confirmed that top scorer Luke Varney will be out for another month after undergoing knee surgery.
