Arsenal manager Unai Emery said he was already thinking about the next match, after he was asked whether he was worried about his future at the club. The Gunners manager insisted that he's not concerned about being sacked. The Arsenal manager said that he'll go away and analyse the game, and start preparing for future matches.

Emery also said that he was positive after the defeat, but he appreciated that fans were disappointed with the result.

When asked whether he fears losing his job, Emery simply told BT Sport: "I’ll analyse the match, and I’m thinking about the next match."

The boss said that although the team lost, there were some positive signs throughout the match.

“We lost here, but for the Europa League, we have the last match to achieve [topping the group].

“We showed an improvement in the first-half and we had a lot of opportunities to score, but we did not take them.

“The first five or 10 minutes of the second half were good, but then we lost control for 15 minutes, and we could not change the result.

“We tried to come back but we did not create any big opportunities to score.”

"[The fans] were angry, they were disappointed. We lost control of the game in 15 minutes, and they achieved the result in that period.

"I am being positive, but above all realistic. We lost a very good opportunity to win the game tonight, but we improved from the last match here.

"We are first in the table, and lost the opportunity to progress tonight, but we will take another in Liege."

Arsenal lost 2-1 to Eintracht Frankfurt in the Europa League to leave Emery’s future at the club in doubt.

The Gunners took the lead shortly before half-time through Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

But, Daichi Kamada brought the visitors level in the 55th minute.

The equaliser appeared to shell-shock Arsenal, who eventually contended a second goal less than 10 minutes later.

Emery was already under pressure heading into the Europa League tie, with some claiming that it was a must-win game for the manager.

The Gunners fans voiced their discontent on the full-time whistle.

Despite the Emirates Stadium being only a quarter full - if that - there was loud echoes of boos all around the stadium.

Fans were also seen in the ground holding ‘Emery Out’ banners.

Before the match, Unai Emery said that he wasn’t worried about the security of his job, and that he was just focusing on the next game.

“My future is today and tomorrow,” said the Gunners boss.

“Each moment in my career is difficult. It’s a very good job, but it’s very hard.

“When you are winning, you feel the support from everybody, but when you're not winning like in the last matches, you have some doubters.”

Arsenal now face a trip to Norwich City in the Premier League on Sunday (2pm), knowing that a defeat could see them drop further down the table, if other results go against them.
