Ebbsfleet moved off the bottom of the Vanarama National League table after drawing 1-1 with 10-man Eastleigh but will rue the two missed penalties that cost them all three points.
The visitors opened the scoring after five minutes when Myles Weston swept home from 10 yards.
Eastleigh levelled things up in the 39th minute when Scott Rendell bundled in after Tyrone Barnett had beaten the offside trap.
Ebbsfleet were awarded a penalty in the 71st minute but Josh Umerah fired over.
Rendell had a goal ruled out for offside before Joe Partington was sent off for fouling Alfie Egan in the box.
Frankie Sutherland’s resulting penalty was saved and the points were shared.
