Manchester United chiefs have gone cold on the idea of replacing manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer with Mauricio Pochettino.
The Sun says the sacked Tottenham manager is wanted by a number of top clubs around Europe, including Spurs' bitter rivals Arsenal and Everton.
United have looked at bringing him to Old Trafford over the last few years after an impressive spell in North London.
But Solskjaer's resurgence with the Red Devils is slowly putting an end to his chances of a Manchester move.
Stunning wins over Spurs and Manchester City away have helped show the project the Norwegian is trying to create.
It is believed the Old Trafford board have been delighted with the way the side have been playing recently.
They see a long-term strategy under Solksjaer could be starting to finally come together after a tricky start to the season.
The United hierarchy want to give him as much time as possible to prove he can get the club back to the top of the Premier League.
