Terell Thomas a doubt for Southend clash

AFC Wimbledon could be without defender Terell Thomas for the New Year’s Day visit of Southend.
The 24-year-old suffered a knock on Boxing Day and had to be withdrawn in the 72nd minute last time out against Oxford, with manager Glyn Hodges revealing he would be assessed after aggravating the same problem.
Ossama Ashley is pushing for a place in the matchday squad following cruciate ligament surgery, while Michael Folivi and Adam Roscrow are nearing full fitness.
Scott Wagstaff and Anthony Wordsworth (both calf), Kwesi Appiah and Paul Kalambayi (both ankle) and Will Nightingale all miss out.
Southend boss Sol Campbell will have a decision to make in goal as he looks for his first league win in charge of the Shrimpers.
Mark Oxley replaced Nathan Bishop for the draw against MK Dons for his first start since October and Campbell must decide whether to stick with him or return to the youngster.
Harry Lennon is expected to miss the rest of the season with a broken leg, while Nathan Ralph (shoulder) is also a long-term absentee.
United will come into the game with three days extra rest in their legs having not played since Boxing Day.
