Moore strike enough as Ayr beat Dunfermline

Craig Moore scored the only goal as Ayr brought their two-match Ladbrokes Championship losing run to an end with a 1-0 win at Dunfermline.
The Pars came close to taking a 12th-minute lead but Kyle Turner’s long-range free-kick came back off Ross Doohan’s left post with the goalkeeper rooted to the spot.
Ayr went ahead seven minutes before the interval when Moore stuck out a foot to divert Alan Forrest’s shot beyond Ryan Scully and into the net.
Moore almost doubled the advantage moments after the re-start but he turned Forrest’s cross narrowly wide.
