Zidane now has his coaching licence

Zinedine Zidane is now a complete coach. His Supercopa de Espana win and the way he managed to overcome a more than complicated situation gave him a doctorate and cleared any doubt that may exist about his ability on the bench.

Many of his decisions in the last two months have raised some eyebrows, but the Frenchman has a line that he repeats over and over again at the press conferences.

"For me all players are equal and I count on everyone," Zidane has said and in recent weeks, especially in Jeddah, and he has shown that that's how it is.

He did it with Mariano Diaz, a player who hadn't stepped on the pitch until the Supercopa de Espana and played in both the semi-final and the final.

Zidane knows how to motivate his players to never give up.

Perhaps he is only failing in that sense with Vinicius Junior, a player who has not moved forward, but many others, such as Rodrygo Goes, Mariano or Luka Jovic, have come in and fought when they got their chances.

With others, he has managed to help them rediscover their form, something that was a psychological issue as the Frenchman said prior the game against Atletico, something that happened to him, but he has now fully recovered.

Raphael Varane, Toni Kroos, Luka Modric and Isco are some examples. Karim Benzema's form explains everything.

Thibaut Courtois is a special case. This same season he seemed all over the place and now he looks like a wall. Zidane opted for the Belgian, and both time and his saves have proved him right.

The flower is still alive and continues to have an aroma not through luck, but by correct tactical decisions at the beginning and during matches.

"We like to do new things," said Zidane after surprising everyone with a formation with five midfielders against Valencia.

He also added that they don't have a template, but multitude of tactical variants. Those that were previously discussed and praised.
