Meghan Markle allegedly bombarded Victoria Beckham before she turned on the fashion designer following a rift caused by a dress

Meghan Markle"love bombed" Victoria Beckham before allegedly accusing her of leaking stories to the media, it is claimed.

The Duchess of Sussex moved to the UK in 2017 after going public about her relationship with Prince Harry and it is claimed Posh Spice took her under her wing – with two becoming one.

According to reports, Victoria went on to introduce Meghan to the best fashionistas and beauticians around the capital.

Meghan and Harry lived next door to Posh and Becks at their Cotswolds home before becoming good friends, with insiders claiming that Victoria even helped design the interior of Meghan and Harry's UK home, Frogmore Cottage.

Despite Meghan and Victoria becoming inseparable, their friendship soon turned sour after Meghan accused Beckham of leaking information to the media.

Prince Harry is said to have phoned David Beckham to confront the football ace after Meghan voiced her concerns, claiming the information came from Posh.

The pair seemed to get their friendship back on track, but David and Victoria only managed to bag a daytime invite to royal wedding back in May 2018.

However, a new spanner has been thrown into the works, with sources claiming Victoria and Meghan's friendship became bitter once more after Posh Spice refused to let the former royal wear dresses for free – despite Victoria's clothing being sold for thousands.

Speaking to Heat magazine, a source close to Brooklyn Beckham's mum said: "Victoria has had more than enough involvement with Meghan – first she was love-bombed by her, via Harry, wanting to visit the store, and always looking for tips on London, and hanging out in the Cotswolds as they are neighbours there.

"Then things took a funny turn. Meghan made overtures about wearing Victoria’s clothes, but she doesn't give them out for free."

The insider went on to say: "She is happy to give a discreet discount to anyone that she knows personally but she doesn't give them out – that's her policy.

"That’s when Meghan turned on her, accusing her of selling stories on her – with the really awkward call between Harry and David."

But it seems their rift has calmed down after Meghan was snapped wearing a £2,250 coat by Victoria on Christmas Day in 2018.
