Crewe midfielder Oli Finney is set to start again when Leyton Orient visit in Sky Bet League Two on Tuesday.
After impressing off the bench at Macclesfield last week, manager David Artell handed him an opportunity from the off on Saturday and he scored in the draw with Scunthorpe.
The Railwaymen are still missing several players due to injury, but Eddie Nolan has been given positive news regarding his back and could return to training for the end of February.
Olly Lancashire (Achilles), Rio Adebisi and Lewis Reilly (both ankle) continue to be absent.
Orient boss Ross Embleton will remain without winger James Dayton, who serves the second of a three-match suspension for his red card in the draw with Northampton last week.
Player-coach Jobi McAnuff (groin) remains unavailable and is joined on the sidelines by Sam Ling, who is out with the same problem.
Youngster Brendon Shabani is out long-term with a knee injury while Dean Brill has retired after failing to recover from a hamstring issue and is now part of the O’s coaching team.
Teenage forward Ruel Sotiriou will hope to retain his starting berth after scoring in Orient’s 2-1 win over Newport.
