Bees to revert to strongest line-up for Forest clash

Brentford boss Thomas Frank made nine changes for the FA Cup defeat against Leicester and is likely to revert back to the side which drew at Huddersfield when they take on Nottingham Forest.

Forwards Ollie Watkins and Said Benrahma and goalkeeper David Raya are three of those expected to come back in.

Pontus Jansson (hip) and Mathias Jensen (hamstring) have missed the Bees’ last two matches and could sit out once again.

Sergi Canos and Nikos Karelis are expected to remain sidelined with knee injuries.

Recent signing Adama Diakhaby could make his Nottingham Forest debut.

The 23-year-old winger, on loan from Huddersfield, was left out of the Reds’ matchday squad for the game against Reading last Wednesday, so could make his first appearance for his new club at Griffin Park.

Forest head coach Sabri Lamouchi has no fresh injury concerns for the match as his side – unbeaten in their last five league matches – look to overtake third-placed Fulham and close in on the automatic promotion places.

Claudio Yacob left the club on Monday to join Nacional De Football in Uruguay.
