On-Loan striker Hogan could make Birmingham debut against Forest

Striker Scott Hogan is poised to make his Birmingham debut in Saturday’s Sky Bet Championship clash with promotion-chasing Nottingham Forest at St Andrew’s.
Hogan has joined the Blues on loan until the end of the season from cross-city rivals Aston Villa after being recalled from a loan spell with Stoke where he was unable to get any game time under manager Michael O’Neill.
Boss Pep Clotet will be without midfielders Kerim Mrabti and Dan Crowley with hamstring injuries that will keep both sidelined for the next couple of weeks.
Fellow midfielder Maikel Kieftenbeld is closing in on a return as he is to play with the under-23s in his first comeback game after missing all of this season with a knee injury.
Forest could have their own new striker signing on show following the capture this week of Nuno Da Costa from Strasbourg for an undisclosed fee.
Another recent signing in Adama Diakhaby made his debut, but from the bench, in Tuesday’s 1-0 win at Brentford and will be pushing for his maiden start.
Forest head coach Sabri Lamouchi has no fresh injury concerns for the match as his side look to stretch their unbeaten six-game run in the league.
Goalkeeper Costel Pantilimon left the club on Thursday to join Cypriot side AC Omonia on loan for the remainder of the season.
