Onyedinma set for Wycombe return against Fleetwood

Midfielder Fred Onyedinma is set to play his first game for just over three months in Wycombe’s Sky Bet League One clash with Fleetwood at Adams Park.
Onyedinma has been out since early October with a pelvic injury and, although an unused sub in Saturday’s 3-1 home win over Bristol Rovers, boss Gareth Ainsworth has confirmed the 23-year-old will figure at some stage against Fleetwood.
Ainsworth must decide whether imposing striker Adebayo Akinfenwa starts again after his goalscoring return from injury against Rovers, as the 37-year-old rarely plays from the off in back-to-back matches.
Striker Scott Kashket continues to serve a two-month ban for betting offences, while defender Jack Grimmer remains sidelined with a pelvic problem.
Deadline-day signing Isak Thorvaldsson will be hoping to make his debut for The Cod Army.
Thorvaldsson was an unused substitute in Town’s 2-1 victory at AFC Wimbledon on Saturday. Fellow new boy Barrie McKay played his part with 34 minutes against the Dons.
Boss Joey Barton opted not to risk playing Harrison Biggins with a face mask in that game as the midfielder continues to recover from a fractured cheekbone.
Barton remains without loanee midfielder Jordan Rossiter due to a serious knee problem, while Kyle Dempsey has been sidelined since late last month with an unspecified injury.
