Crewe wait on Anene and Powell for Crawley clash
Posted Monday, February 10, 2020 by PA
Crewe will assess a number of players ahead of their match against Crawley.
Chuma Anene and fellow forward Daniel Powell are both nursing hamstring problems and will be monitored.
Powell pulled up in the warm-up before Saturday’s win over Oldham, while Anene was forced off in the second half.
Tom Lowery has missed the last two matches with a pelvic injury and looks set to miss out again.
Crawley will continue to be without suspended defender Josh Doherty for the trip.
He completes a two-match ban for reaching double figures for yellow cards this season.
Boss John Yems is likely to be without defender Joe McNerney as he struggles to overcome a knock.
Lewis Young has been sidelined since the end of December and is expected to miss out once again.
