Oldham will be without captain David Wheater for their clash with Forest Green.
The centre-back serves a one-match ban after his sending off in the 5-1 defeat by Exeter on Tuesday for handling the ball on the goal-line.
Cameron Borthwich-Jackson returned from illness against the Grecians but Zak Dearnley missed out with a hamstring injury and could again be sidelined.
Emmanuel Dieseruvwe is among those pushing for a start if boss Dino Maamria decides to make changes after back-to-back defeats.
Forest Green are desperate for a change in fortune after taking just one point from their last six games.
The latest defeat came at home to Port Vale, where boss Mark Cooper changed to a 4-4-2 formation, pairing Josh March and Matty Stevens up front.
Rovers are also battling injury problems, with new signing Odin Bailey picking up an ankle problem against Vale and Dominic Bernard also forced off with a calf injury.
Jevani Brown and Dayle Grubb have both been sidelined by hamstring problems, while Liam Shephard, Joe Mills and Matt Mills could all miss the rest of the season.
