Rochdale face double doubt for Tranmere test

Rochdale will check on minor knocks to Ollie Rathbone and Rhys Norrington-Davies ahead of their Sky Bet League One clash with Tranmere.

Midfielder Rathbone missed the midweek defeat at Sunderland as a precaution after taking a blow to the knee in the act of scoring his side’s late equaliser in the previous game against Doncaster.

Defender Norrington-Davies was withdrawn in the first half against Sunderland after suffering a dead leg.

Midfielder Callum Camps, who has been out for the past month, is close to returning from a groin injury.

Tranmere are again without full-backs Calum Woods and Kane Wilson.

The pair were forced to miss the midweek draw with Bristol Rovers and are likely to be out for two to three weeks.

George Ray will be assessed after being forced off early in the game on Tuesday with a groin injury.

Peter Clarke and Ollie Banks are back in training but Mark Ellis and Evan Gumbs are long-term absentees.
