Swindon set to be without defender Caddis because of hamstring injury

Swindon are set to be without Paul Caddis for the visit of Scunthorpe.
Caddis was forced off during Tuesday’s 1-0 win at Northampton with a hamstring injury, a game which Robins boss Richie Wellens missed through illness.
The loss of Caddis could see Swindon reorganise with Zeki Fryers switched to full-back and Tom Broadbent returning in central defence.
Jerry Yates and Hallam Hope are challenging for forward spots as Swindon seek to maintain their status as Sky Bet League Two leaders.
Russ Wilcox is in charge of Scunthorpe for the first time since the club announced that the former Iron defender will take over until the end of the season.
Wilcox says he has to assess “a few bumps and bruises” after the 2-0 midweek home defeat to Cambridge.
Defender Rory McArdle (hamstring) and midfielder Yann Songo’o (knee) are likely to miss out again, while Jordan Hallam is nearing a return after playing 45 minutes for the under-23s at West Brom on Thursday.
Loan signing Regan Slater has stepped up his recovery from an ankle injury at parent club Sheffield United and is set to rejoin the Iron in a few weeks.
