Bristol City struggling with illness ahead of home clash with leaders West Brom

Bristol City’s hopes of boosting their Championship promotion push are once again likely to be hit by illness when they host West Brom.
The Robins only had 12 players available for training on Tuesday and boss Lee Johnson is awaiting fitness updates ahead of Saturday’s clash with the league leaders.
The illness could not have come at a worse time for Johnson, with his side sliding out of the play-off zone after last week’s defeat at Leeds.
Tomas Kalas is closing in on his return following a hamstring injury but Marley Watkins (calf) is still unavailable.
Baggies boss Slaven Bilic is still biding his time as he looks to boost his options for the promotion run-in.
Gareth Barry is continuing his recovery from a calf injury while Chris Brunt and Kieran Gibbs (hamstring) are both closing in on a first-team return.
On-loan West Ham midfielder Grady Diangana continues rehabilitation on his own hamstring problem but is expected to be back by the end of February.
Teenage defender Nathan Ferguson is sidelined following exploratory knee surgery.
