Promotion hopefuls Crewe have no new injury concerns as they host relegation-threatened Macclesfield.
Daniel Powell is still recovering from a hamstring injury which he sustained during their warm-up against Oldham and will not be risked.
Tom Lowery again misses out due to an ongoing pelvic injury which has kept him out of the last three matches.
On-loan Middlesbrough striker Stephen Walker, who started the defeat against Plymouth, will look to finish his first 90 minutes on Saturday.
Recent loan signing Shilow Tracey will be hoping to keep his place in the starting line-up after his first goal for Macclesfield against Plymouth.
Corey O’Keeffe will be treading thin ice if selected for Macclesfield as the on-loan Birmingham defender is one booking away from suspension.
Donovan Wilson will hope to feature in this Cheshire derby after returning from injury as an unused substitute in midweek.
David Fitzpatrick made a late cameo against Plymouth and will be looking to start.
