Callum Camps is expected to miss out again when Rochdale host Sky Bet League One high-flyers Coventry.
Midfielder Camps has been sidelined since sustaining a groin problem in the 4-1 FA Cup replay loss to Newcastle.
The 24-year-old had not recovered in time for last weekend’s postponed home clash with Tranmere.
Defender Paul McShane could step back into the starting XI, having been a replacement in Rochdale’s last league match, the 3-0 loss at Sunderland on February 11.
Jodi Jones could feature for Coventry as he steps up his recovery from long-term knee trouble.
The 22-year-old signed a new Sky Blues contract this week, and also starred with two goals in the under-23s’ 4-4 draw at Colchester.
Aston Villa loanee Callum O’Hare could start having been a replacement in Saturday’s 2-0 win at Southend.
Boss Mark Robbins could rotate his resources, especially with second-placed Coventry hosting table-toppers Rotherham on Tuesday night.
