Shaun Whalley eyeing return as Shrewsbury take on Tranmere

Sam Ricketts has a strengthened squad as his Shrewsbury side prepare to take on Tranmere in Tuesday night’s Sky Bet League Two clash.
Midfielder Shaun Whalley could return to action for the clash as the hosts look to build on Saturday’s narrow 1-0 victory over Doncaster.
The right winger has been on the sidelines since leaving the pitch during the Shrews’ 1-0 FA Cup defeat to Liverpool on February 4, but is now available for selection.
Midfielder Brad Walker could also feature after a lay-off, having recovered from a hamstring injury that has seen him out of action for a fortnight.
Tranmere midfielder Ollie Banks is eyeing a comeback after recovering from the knee injury that has troubled him since October.
Defender George Ray may miss out after sustaining a groin strain during Rovers’ draw with Bristol Rovers on February 11.
Calum Woods and Kane Wilson have returned to training following injury and could be included in the matchday squad.
But the fixture will come too soon for recovering centre-backs Mark Ellis and Evan Gumbs.
