Sky Bet League Two bottom side Stevenage may have a number of players missing when they welcome Walsall to the Lamex Stadium.
Scott Cuthbert could again miss out – as Boro aim to end a seven-match league losing streak – after he went off injured against Bradford on February 11 and has remained unavailable for the last two matches.
Youngster Arthur Iontton will not be available for selection after joining National League South side Braintree this week.
Danny Newton may not be risked as he recovers from an ankle injury. Jake Cassidy is one booking away from an automatic suspension after picking up nine yellow cards this season.
Callum Cockerill-Mollett continues to remain absent for Walsall after sustaining a hamstring injury in January.
Danny Guthrie, who had been struggling for fitness, played 88 minutes in a 2-2 draw with Port Vale last time out and will be looking to start once again.
Goalkeeper Jack Rose made a rare start between the sticks against the Valiants, making only his fourth league start this season and will be battling Liam Roberts for the number one jersey.
Meanwhile, Rory Gaffney departed the club this week so he will not be involved on Saturday.
