Morecambe dealt Cole Stockton injury blow ahead of clash with Crewe
Posted Thursday, February 27, 2020 by PA
Morecambe will be without striker Cole Stockton for the visit of Crewe after he was ruled out for up to six weeks.
The forward is facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines after sustaining a shoulder injury in the closing stages against Carlisle last weekend.
Shrimps boss Derek Adams has no other fresh injury worries.
Morecambe sit 22nd in the Sky Bet League Two table, nine points ahead of basement club Stevenage.
Crewe manager David Artell has no new injury concerns.
Tom Lowery again misses out due to an ongoing pelvic injury.
The Railwaymen sit second in the table and will be looking to keep up the pressure on leaders Swindon, who are two points clear at the summit.
Daniel Powell is among those pushing for a starting spot should Artell wish to make any changes.
