Rotherham will be without Dan Barlaser for the Sky Bet League One visit of MK Dons.
The on-loan Newcastle midfielder was carried off on a stretcher against Coventry in midweek with an ankle injury.
A scan has shown the problem is not as serious as first feared but Barlaser is still likely to be out for a couple of weeks.
Matthew Olosunde and Matt Crooks are expected to shake off knocks sustained against the Sky Blues.
Carlton Morris sits out the match through suspension for MK Dons.
The striker was sent off during the 3-1 midweek defeat at Portsmouth and serves a one-match ban.
Fellow forward Joe Mason is close to returning after a month sidelined with a muscle strain.
Ben Gladwin’s lively substitute appearance at Fratton Park could see him handed a chance from the start.
