Blackburn without suspended Darragh Lenihan for Swansea clash

Blackburn boss Tony Mowbray has a decision to make at the back ahead of Saturday’s Sky Bet Championship showdown with Swansea.

Darragh Lenihan picked up his 10th booking of the season in Wednesday night’s 0-0 draw with Stoke and begins a two-match ban.

Derrick Williams, who is back in training after injury, and Charlie Mulgrew are the leading contenders to replace Lenihan.

Striker Sam Gallagher started against the Potters after shaking off a groin injury, while midfielder Joe Rankin-Costello was used as a substitute following his recovery from a hamstring problem, but Bradley Dack, Lewis Holtby and Corry Evan remain on the sidelines.

Swansea head coach Steve Cooper hopes to have midfielder Bersant Celina available once again after he missed the midweek defeat at Fulham through illness.

The Kosovan has been isolated from the rest of the squad to prevent him passing the bug on and Cooper will make a late decision on him.

Midfielder Nathan Dyer, who has not played since January 5, was an unused substitute at Craven Cottage on his return from injury.

However, Wayne Routledge and Mike van der Hoorn remain out with knee injuries, as does George Byers (ankle).
