Scunthorpe wait on Eisa and Van Veen fitness ahead of Grimsby visit

Scunthorpe strikers Abobaker Eisa and Kevin Van Veen will be given late fitness tests ahead of the Sky Bet League Two visit of local rivals Grimsby on Saturday.
Eisa (hamstring) and Van Veen (groin) were withdrawn in the 2-2 draw at Port Vale last weekend and missed the 2-0 defeat to Swindon on Tuesday. Fellow striker Devarn Green should be fit after a dead leg.
Harrison McGahey is still recovering from a concussion while fellow defender Junior Brown is making good progress from medial ligament damage but will not be available this weekend.
Ryan Colclough (back), Jordan Clarke (calf), Kgosi Ntlhe (Achilles), Regan Slater (ankle) and Alfie Beestin and Jordan Hallam (hamstring) are also sidelined for the injury-hit Iron.
James Hanson has not been entirely ruled out for Grimsby despite a scan this week revealing the striker has suffered a grade two tear in his groin.
Ian Holloway revealed Hanson feels fine despite the injury but the Mariners manager may want to exercise caution with his nine-goal leading scorer.
Midfielder Jake Hessenthaler will not be ready to return but is progressing better than anticipated following a punctured lung and broken rib.
Full-back Bradley Garmston is almost certain to miss out with a hamstring injury while Jordan Cook will also be sidelined.
