Bristol Rovers face injury and suspension concerns as they attempt to end a desperate run of form at home to Sky Bet League One promotion challengers Sunderland.
Rovers are without Tareiq Holmes-Dennis (knee), Mark Little (calf), Gavin Reilly (knee) and Josh Ginnelly, who has returned to parent club Preston to undergo the first stage of rehabilitation on a hip injury.
Abu Ogogo completes a three-match suspension for being sent off in the reverse fixture at Sunderland just over two weeks ago, while fellow midfielder Ed Upson starts a two-match ban after collecting 10 bookings.
Rovers, who have won just once in 18 games, will give a late fitness test to Jonson Clarke-Harris after the 14-goal marksman missed Saturday’s 3-1 defeat at Southend with a shoulder problem.
Charlie Wyke is in contention to return to the Sunderland squad after missing the 2-2 home draw with Gillingham.
The Black Cats striker has had an injection to sort a minor back problem, which he has been carrying for a few weeks.
Fifth-placed Sunderland, who are three points adrift of the automatic promotion places, have no new injury worries.
Long-term absentee Bailey Wright remains out with a knee injury.
