Anthony Glennon to miss out for Grimsby

Anthony Glennon will miss Grimsby’s Sky Bet League Two clash with Carlisle despite being given the all-clear over a foot injury.
The on-loan Burnley defender underwent a scan on the foot he damaged during last Saturday’s 2-0 win at Scunthorpe which confirmed he had not suffered a fracture as initially feared, but he has been given compassionate leave this weekend.
Billy Clarke and Harry Davis, who were both substituted at the Sands Venue Stadium, trained on Thursday and will be in contention, but Bradley Garmston, who missed out against the Iron, will not.
Jake Hessenthaler continues to work his way back towards full match fitness, while James Hanson is expected to sit out for up to three weeks with a groin tear.
Carlisle head coach Chris Beech has a decision to make over leading scorer Harry McKirdy.
McKirdy missed Tuesday night’s 2-0 win over Newport with a thigh injury and is continuing to receive treatment.
Defender Byron Webster is available once again after completing a two-match ban following his 10th booking of the season in the 2-1 victory at Cambridge on February 29.
Midfielder Nathan Thomas will hope for further involvement after being used as a second-half substitute in midweek on his return from injury.
