Graham Coughlan still without Kellan Gordon as Mansfield host Crewe

Mansfield will remain without Kellan Gordon for the visit of Crewe on Saturday.

Gordon has been sidelined since the end of November with a back problem.

Alex MacDonald and Matt Preston have both returned to training following hamstring problems and are available for the match.

Neither player has featured since suffering the injuries in the 2-2 draw with Carlisle at the start of February.

Sky Bet League Two leaders Crewe have brought in South African goalkeeper Dino Visser on a short-term deal ahead of the match.

Visser, who most recently played for League Two rivals Exeter, will provide immediate competition for Will Jaaskelainen and Dave Richards in goal, with his signing prompted by the expected loss of Jaaskelainen to international duty later this month.

Eddie Nolan must be assessed as he continues his recovery from a back injury.

Tom Lowery and Olly Lancashire have both been back in training, though neither was involved in last weekend’s 3-1 win over Stevenage.
