James Rodriguez's question marks over a Premier League move

James Rodriguez looks set to leave Real Madrid this summer.

The Colombian's contract at Los Blancos expires in 2021 and the club will put him up for sale to try to generate some money from him.

However, the coronavirus crisis is having a major impact on the football industry and the spending power of the clubs.

Due to the shortage of funds in other countries, the midfielder is destined for a move to the Premier League - a league he avoided joining last summer.

Arsenal, Everton and Wolves are the clubs who are most interesting in signing James this summer.

If he were to join any of those three teams, he'd be offered game time and an important role in the side.

Everton are the standout candidates because of Carlo Ancelotti, who James played so well under during his time at Real Madrid.

The Colombian wanted a move to Napoli last summer to link up again with the Italian, but it didn't come to fruition.

As for Arsenal, they were the first to declare their interest and have always been big fans of James, who appreciates their admiration.

Then there's Wolves, who James' agent Jorge Mendes has a very strong relationship with.

There are advantages and disadvantages of joining each of the three clubs and it seems the player will get to decide his future himself.
