Mohamed Salah has made it clear what he thinks of the questions regarding whether or not Liverpool should sell him this summer.

Mohamed Salah has provided a response to suggestions Liverpool might need to sell him to progress. Alongside an analytical article looking at where and how the Reds might be able to further develop, Sky Sports asked football supporters whether they would keep or sell the Egyptian in the next transfer window despite his form for the club.

A two-time Premier League Golden Boot winner, Salah has more than repaid the £37million transfer fee that Liverpool paid Roma to bring him to Anfield in 2017.

The 27-year-old boasts a phenomenal record of 91 goals and 37 assists in 144 appearances across all competitions for the Reds.

A year ago, he became the fastest player ever to score 50 Premier League goals for the Merseyside club and just the third fastest in the league's history to reach that landmark, with Alan Shearer having done so quickest in 66 matches while Salah took 69 games.

With Robbie Fowler's record of 100 goals in his first 165 appearances, Salah needs 10 in his next 21 matches to break yet another record.

His goals helped Liverpool to win the Champions League this season and he looks likely to become a Premier League champion this season too, with Jurgen Klopp's side likely to be named champions regardless of whether or not the season can be finished amid the coronavirus outbreak.

Yet despite his feats, there have still been questions asking whether Liverpool might be better off selling their top goalscorer.

Salah's succinct reply to Sky Sports' question was to post three laughing face emojis, which very quickly became the most-liked response among the replies.

The attacker's agent, Ramy Abbas Issa, also posted a series of tweets responding to the same line of questioning.

"This season M. Salah is the team’s top scorer in both the Premier League, and the Champions League.

"Since joining Liverpool FC in 2017, M. Salah has missed out on zero Golden Boots.
"...and he’s not a CF."

Liverpool boss Klopp declared back in February that Salah certainly isn't underappreciated by his team-mates.

“Underappreciated? I don't feel that to be honest, the poor boy, everyone knows him still,” Klopp said of the forward, one of the finest signings of his managerial career.

“If he scored 44 goals in three successive seasons then that would have been really cool and maybe we would have won the league last year!

"For the player, he is an exceptional character and he will never stop really.

“He wants to play and I am not sure how many games he has missed but that is just him.

"He is and became a natural goalscorer, that is how it is.

"I have no clue if he goes under the radar because he doesn't for us, obviously.

“This week we speak about Mo, maybe the week before it was Bobby (Firmino) and there are moments for sure when we spoke about Sadio (Mane).

“There were moments maybe when two of them were not in the firing mood that much but the other one finished the situations off for us.

“These kind of numbers are exceptional but it is not over yet so we don't really have to think about it."
