COPS probing a £500,000 raid on the home of Man City star Riyad Mahrez have arrested a man.
The Sun on Sunday told last week how three watches worth £300,000 were taken.
Police said a 28-year-old was held on suspicion of conspiracy to commit burglary and released under investigation.
Mahrez, 29, believes a gang tracked him and struck after watching him leave his Manchester penthouse.
Raiders used a key fob to access five apartments in all.
We understand they were caught on CCTV moving around the building, but Algerian ace Mahrez didn’t recognise any of them.

Thieves also snatched the star’s prized Rolex Day Date which costs £35,000
A Rolex Daytona worth £40,000 was also taken from the star's home
He lost a £230,000 Mille watch, a £40,000 Rolex Daytona and a £35,000 Rolex Day-Date.
The gang also took more than £50,000 in cash, Cartier bracelets and rare football shirts worth up to £150,000.
Residents were told about the April 23 raids in a letter the next day.
It said: “Apartments were accessed without authority using a fob which had general access throughout the building. The fob in question is now in our possession, has been fully deactivated and cannot be used again.”
Greater Manchester Police confirmed they arrested and released a man aged 28.
Meanwhile ex-Man United defender David May, 49, has posted CCTV footage online of three hooded thugs who smashed patio doors and stole his £45,000 Audi S4.
The trio struck in Chadderton, Manchester, on Thursday.
